Mária Majda Guessous

Receiver of the Junior Prima Prize, singer Mária Majda Guessous (Mesi) sings in 10 languages. Her mother is Hungarian and her father is Moroccan, so her dual roots enable her to authentically perform tunes both from Hungary and Eastern cultures. She graduated from the Liszt Music Academy as a folk singer and teacher. Currently she is a teacher at the Music Academy and the artist of the MUS-E (Musique Europe) program.

In 2016, she held a workshop at the MUS-E program’s international course in Portugal for MUS-E artists. She will be performing in Turkey and in Bahrein soon. (ez már volt??)

In 2017, she was invited to one of the most prestigious cultural venues in Paris, the Centre du Mandapa.
