Jewish Art Days

The  Jewish Art Days were first organized in the spring of 2016 in Budapest. The new event series showed the versatility of Jewish culture to the audience with diverse art productions in several downtown locations. Besides the well-known cultural spaces, concert halls, theatres and cinemas, such as the Music Academy, the Uránia National Movie Theatre, the Átrium Movie Theatre, the A38 Ship, or BMC, locations with a looser atmosphere, cultural, gastronomic and entertaining spaces (e.g., Mazel Tov or Fogas) also welcomed visitors with special events.

The Jewish Art Days is a multicultural receptive space, where the different art branches not only cross each other, but focusing on Jewish culture they merge. Theatre, classical and pop music, literature, film and dance –  these genres are all highlighted in the event series, since they stand for the diversity of the event, while the artists represent the open and creative spirituality in the performances. The quality of the programs is guaranteed by the list of artists performing at every occasion.

With 17 years of organization experience in the field of culture and tourism, the Kultúr Produkciós Iroda (Culture Production Office) launches an event series which is not limtied neither by time nor in space with this brand name. The founding director of the Jewish Art Days is Dr. Vera Vadas, who has also invented and established the former Jewish Summer Festival.
